About Me
I’m Imogen, a pelvic health physiotherapist, mum of two boys and ex-athlete.
About Me
I’ve been a physiotherapist since 2008, working within the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. After having my two boys, I was desperate to return to exercise and help my body to heal, so I saw a pelvic health physiotherapist, took back control and returned to the things I loved.
This opened up a whole new area of physiotherapy for me that was so interesting and rewarding. I felt so passionately that women go through an incredible amount of changes during pregnancy, after giving birth and in menopause and so much could be done to help, yet the awareness of this type of physiotherapy just wasn’t there.
So in 2021, I took the plunge and trained up in pelvic health physiotherapy and secured a role within the pelvic health physiotherapy team in the NHS and have progressed to a Highly Specialised Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and I’m loving every minute. I am also studying for a master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health at Brunel University to advance my clinical skills even further. I previously set up female pelvic health service at a private clinic in Cardiff and have now set up my own specialist service at the beautiful luxury gym ‘The Studio’, so women can self refer themselves to access this treatment.
My other passion is Pilates. I am a fully certified mat work Pilates instructor (APPI qualified) with additional qualifications in pre and post natal Pilates and have been teaching classes for over 10 years. I use these skills regularly to build exercise programs for my patients to build strength, tone and improve flexibility. I take face to face classes for all levels as well as pregnancy and post natal classes and also have online classes available for at home workouts.
If you’d like to know more about whether Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is right for you then please don’t hesitate to book a free 10 minute phone consultation to see if my services could be helpful for you or drop me an email on [email protected]
Appointments and classes can all be booked or purchased on my website or drop me an email for more information.

I also have a passion for sport and used to compete at an international level in athletics specialising in long and triple jump. I still train regularly and also play football for a women’s team. Sport and exercise are such a huge part of my life and empowering women to achieve their exercise goals or return to the sport that they love is something I feel really strongly about. For so many women, pelvic health symptoms are holding them back and this I want to change.
